Faith Based Opportunities at USAID

1.        White House Regional Conference: USAID, along with the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is hosting a series of Regional Conferences on President Bush's Faith-Based and Community Initiative. These conferences are geared towards faith-based and community organizations that have no history of applying for government grants, as well as those that have applied, but have not yet been successful. 2.        Signing Off…  On a personal note, after three good years serving with the Faith-Based and Community Initiative at USAID, I am making a move to the private sector.  After the first of January I will be working with the Association of Evangelical Relief and Development Organizations (AERDO).  After my departure, the point of contact for our office will be Terri Hasdorff, Director: thasdorff@usaid.gov.
